For nearly 100 years, Glendale Community College has served our community as one of the region’s top community colleges, with one of California’s highest transfer rates to four-year universities.

The cost to attend California’s public universities is nearly six times greater than attending community college. Local students rely on GCC for affordable opportunities to earn college credits, certifications and learn job skills without incurring significant debt.

GCC trains our essential workers like nurses, firefighters, law enforcement, and skilled workers who keep us healthy, safe, and our economy strong.

Most classrooms, labs and job training facilities at GCC were built over 60 years ago, are outdated and in need of repairs. Outdated electrical systems, security systems, plumbing, gas and sewer lines need to be replaced. Earthquake and fire safety improvements are also needed.

Voting YES on GCC provides locally controlled funding to upgrade aging college classrooms and labs to maintain affordable access to college and job training here in our community.
